Perfect Cup of Traditional Tea!

  • Heat 1 cup (250 ml) of water to a gentle boil, around 80–90°C (175–195°F).
  • Add 1 teaspoon (about 2 grams) of your favorite Blue Pepper Tea Infusion.
  • Place in a tea infuser or add directly to your cup or pot.
  • Pour the hot water over the infusion and steep for 3–5 minutes for balanced flavor, or simmer gently for a stronger brew.
  • Strain if needed and enjoy hot for a comforting, aromatic experience.

    Customize Your Cup:
  • Add sweetener (honey, maple syrup, sugar, or jaggery), milk (almond, soy, or whole milk), or a splash of lemon.
  • You can also pair it with your favorite black, red, white, oolong, or Earl Grey tea leaves for a unique twist. (Tea leaves contain caffeine).

    Brewer’s Notes:
  • Adding milk can slightly soften the flavor.

  • Next, stir in 1 teaspoon of black tea leaves and let it boil for another 2 minutes to develop a rich color and aroma.
  • Pour in ½ cup of milk and bring the mixture to a gentle boil, allowing it to simmer for 3-4 minutes while stirring occasionally.
  • Once the tea reaches your desired strength, add sugar or jaggery to taste and let it blend in completely.
  • Finally, strain the chai using a fine mesh sieve or tea strainer and pour it into cups.
