What inspired the name Blue Pepper?
Named after rare blue and purple pepper varieties, Blue Pepper reflects who we are bold, vibrant, and full of character. Pepper brings spice and tradition; blue adds calm and modern wellness. Together, they capture our teas: bold in flavor, soothing in experience. A little kick with your calm-unexpected, unforgettable.
From Boardrooms to Blends: Our Founder’s Path
After nearly two decades in a successful Human Resources career, Trupti Sedani Pandhi - Blue Pepper’s founder was inspired to channel her passion for creativity, wellness, and connection into a new venture. In January 2024, she launched Blue Pepper with the vision of crafting unique tea blends that bring people together to savor moments of calm and joy. Drawing on her extensive experience in strategy, branding, and relationship-building, she guided Blue Pepper from late-night recipe testing to the launch of herbal and spiced infusions now enjoyed across multiple countries. The journey has been both challenging and rewarding, marked by resilience, adaptability, and a people-first approach.
In addition to leading Blue Pepper, she had the opportunity to return to the Halton Starter Company Plus program where her own journey began, but this time as a mentor. Through this Ontario-wide initiative, she shared her experiences and offered hands-on guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs in the Halton region.
